Thor Patches Rapidshare Files

After much turmoil over rom patches that only work on Windows, I have created a rom patcher that works in OS X.View larger videoHow to use:01. Place a clean rom of the game in to the Rom folder.02. Rename your rom so that there are no spaces in the file name (ex. PokemonSoulSilver.nds, TalesofInnocence.nds)03. Place the patch file that matches your version of the game in to the Patch folder.04. Rename your patch so that there are no spaces in the file name.05.

Run RomPatcher06. Wait for Process completed07. A new rom named (Original Name)-patched.nds will be placed in the Rom folder. As of 6/29/2010, I personally have confirmed that this patcher works with Team Absolute Zero's newly released Tales of Innocence patch!I made this to work with Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver, and I have tested it with both KazoWAR's and Raqib12's patches. In theory, this patcher can patch any DS rom that uses xdelta patches.Note: I could not find a freezing patch file for HeartGold/SoulSilver. There are 2 out there, but they are.exe files, not patch files.
Please note that the Reason sound banks are not included in this download. If you have personal files, e.g. ReFills, song files and patches in your Reason.
In order to have a HG/SS with the freezing fix, you must either start with a pre-patched rom(Search on Google) or use a patch that has the freezing fix in it.I ask that the makers of the translation patches add freeze-protection in their patches, or that the makers of the freezing patches make their patches availiable as a patch file. Hi VLChelp & j-b, thanks a lot for your replies. I have tried nightlies, but it was exactly the same as the most recent (normal) VLC player. If I play the file, it doesn't work.I have uploaded a 2 minute sample. This sample file is the raw.MOD file that was recorder onto my SD card (so without editing and/or renaming it). It was recorderd by me in Standard Definition (true wide screen (16:9) = 1024x576) on the new Canon FS100 camcorder and I set the recording quality on SP (standard play; 6000 Kbps).
Removing the 'libmodplugin.dll' files seemed to work. I can now play back my.MOD files just if it was a media file. However deleting a 'large' file in order to get 1 file extension to work is rather a dangerous solution? Can you or someone else of the VLC moderators/programmers come up with a stable solution to get this fixed? We need to upload all files inside the Thor Patcher/Web folder, earlier I have created thor folder inside my webhost publichtml, now I will upload all files inside Web folder into thor folder under my webhost. I suggest to use filezilla for easy uploading of files. You just need to drag the files your going to patch and edit your plist.txt.
The sample is 116 MB, I've uploaded this as two.rar files (maximum upload of the Rapidshare website was 100 MB ).The download location is:VLC player can play this file, but only if you first rename it to.MPG. It would help me and lots of other users greatly if this file would be recognized by VLC player and that it will play directly. Lot of other camcorder now use the.MOD extension, not only Canon, but also for example Panasonic and JVC use it.I hope this helps. If you have any more questions, I'll be more then happy to give my supportJeroen Wolf, from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Hi Arite,Ah, that explains a lot.

Also the +/- 8 sec of harsh sound I hear when playing back my 2 minute.MOD audio/video file that was recorded with my Canon FS100 camcorder. Is there a programmable work around for it (in the source code) so the VLC program can recognise the.MOD file as an audio/visual MPEG-2 file instead of the ' synthesized MOD audio file'?I hope you can reply me. Not only me, but lots of other users who work with this new file format for camcorders will appriciate it.Thanks in advance,Jeroen Wolffrom Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Yeah I know that works. But if you or some other programmer can help me out with this? I'm so sure lots of people will be helped if this is automated.

Especially if you have to rename lots of.MOD recordings to.MPG. I know someone (Sektionschef) made a small program named SDcopy.exe to make life a little less harder But if VLC player can do it, so many people are helped, it will make a huge difference.I hope you will consider this. Perhaps you can suply me with a patch to make the adjustment. Thanks again, Jeroen Wolffrom Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Can you or someone else of the VLC moderators/programmers come up with a stable solution to get this fixed? The problem lies in the fact that VLC recognise the.MOD extension as an synthesized MOD audio file instead of a MPEG-2 media file. Putting a higher priority sounds like a stable solution like j-b said.
But I have no programming skills and to recompile. I hope you can help me out with this. Perhaps you could give me the exact syntax of a certain file I have to change? The best would be if I have an install program of the laterst VLC player that recognise the.MOD file as a MPEG-2 file instead of the synthesized MOD audio file.thanks again for all your help, Jeroen. I hope you can help me out with this. Perhaps you could give me the exact syntax of a certain file I have to change? No the problem lies in the fact that CASIO names MPEG-2 files as.MOD. Not that VLC makes incorrectly its job.
Please don't mistake about that. Moreover, I cannot download 100Mb for this. You have to give me the messages if you want it fixed.
