Reviewed Aug 05th, 2019 byI have The Black version 7300K. For just 41 WPC, it is extremely powerfull, has good bass, event with flat set of the tone, but highs could be better.

It should be used with speakers with high sensitivity on high tones, otherwise good. The loudness is useless, this Amp can easily drive most speakers. Even with difficult speakers, it can really boost. Not an audiophile amp, but definately a Hi-Fi one. Very open and musical.

No aux input, and although it has connections for 2 pairs of speakers, it can only run MAIN or REMOTE. But if you use just one pair of speakers it is ok (also if you want to compare speakers). The headphone Jack disconects The speakers (that's ok).

The Phono stage is good, use it with a SL-B202 and a CD - Changer SL-MC410, a TV and sounds good. Drives 4 ohms with no problem, no overheat due to huge heatsinks.

Quite heavy, over 9kg for a 2x 40 W. Good quality of finishing. Sounds very powerfull on CD and TV. I am looking forward for a ST 7300K tuner, or an Internet tuner. In Bucharest many broadcasts have low Power, therefore quality on FM is low. So, an internet tuner with line out should be ok.I like it, is a good amplifier, paired with adequate speakers it gives a nice sound. In my opinion, sounds a bit better than his bigger brother, SU-7700.

IT's just my opinion. I could make a copy/paste of Robo15's comments! Rayman legends non steam crack.

It's a smart looking integrated amplifier, reliable (I bougth it in '79) and warm sounding. The bass side is powerful and punchy, but it's not very subtle in the highs and high mids.

Of course, some components have aged a bit, just like me, and I'm not sure I might remember precisely how this baby was sounding in his early years.I've to unscrew the box from time to time. The front switches - especially those devoluted to the tape monitoring - need some contact spray about one time a year. Being able to dismantle this little beast the good way for cleaning parts hard to reach will be of great help. So, I'd like to thank you very much for the service manual. I have also had mine since 1979. Over the years i have had a little trouble with the switches and a button or two.

When a channel cuts out i usually find the cause in the tape monitor switches. Usually switching them up and down a couple of dozen times restores the channel connection in the switch. Sometimes this problem is from the speaker button. On mine lately the tuner button has also caused a similar problem. If you power the unit down and spray contact cleaner in the switches it really helps get rid of the problem. Just give it 5 minutes time to dry before powering back up.
