Greetings C4D Magicians of Reddit!I've been experimenting with 360 VR videos in C4D recently and stumbled upon some camera configurations which I do not understand.I'm using - andI wish to have a final 360 Render that has a Forward FOV that matches the project's original cam FOV (34deg) but no matter how I tweak I'm unable to achieve a result anywhere close to the desired FOV in 360 VR. Tweaking the CV-VR cam FOV's results in a same end 360 render as 90deg FOVs. Octane & CV-VR required Any help would be greatly appreciated! (Don't really care about left/right FOV). Well I haven't done alot with CV-VR or VR directly from Cinema, but I have done some so I'm semi-familiar with some of this stuff.Have you tried not using CV-VR?because you arent rendering with the inbuilt engines, I feel like you loose alot of control you'd otherwise have over the camera.Octane has an equirectangular setting for doing 360 directly from single octane cameras. Change the camera type from 'ThinLens' to 'panoramic' and twirl down the panoramic setting to get the FOVx and FOVy options. Maybe messing with those will get you where you want.typically I'd be able to actually open this up and check for you, but I'm stupid busy at the moment:/just let me know how it goes, we'll try to get you sorted out:).
