A charged/functioning transponder can be put into a sleep mode by placing it in an unpowered charging cradle or charger case. Switching the transponder back to normal mode normal functioning resumes when the transponder is removed from the cradle or charger case. 3.5 Cleaning instructions over the course of time, transponders can become soiled.

Five hours before the battery becomes fully discharged, this indicator light changes from green to red.
